Bettie Jane (Janie) Owens
March 22, 1924-September 23, 2008
Bettie Jane (Janie) Owens, 84, of Watts, OK, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Owens was born March 22, 1924 in Proctor, OK; she was the daughter of John Robert Pathkiller and Annie (Bird) Pathkiller.
She was the widow of the late Charlie Lee Owens whom preceded her in death.
Jane had retired from the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital as a housekeeper. She attended the Faith Alive Church in Watts, OK. Janie liked to make quilts and she loved making pies for people.
Surviviors include; 1 daughter; Teresa Wilstead & husband Troy, Collinsville, OK, 1 son; Arlis Dozhier and wife Carla, Siloam Springs, AR, 1 sister; Lydia Crittenden Chewey, OK, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Janie was preceded in death by her husband Charlie, 1 son; Johnny Marshall and a grandson; Jeffrey Marshall.
Services for Mrs. Owens will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Backstrom Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs, AR. Pastor Elvin Still and Rev. Vernon Garr will officiate the service.

Burial will be held at Bell Cemetery in Watts, OK under the direction of Backstrom Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs AR.
