Darrell Wayne Hogshooter
May 3, 1944 - May 15, 2006
Darrell Wayne Hogshootger, the son of Jess and Gladys Marie (Logsdon) Hogshooter, was born May 3, 1944 in Alameda, California, and departed this life on May 15, 2006 at his home in Watts, at the age of 62 years, and 11 days.
Darrell was a very lovable man who enjoyed his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Gladys (Logsdon) Hogshooter; one son, Daylin Hogshooter; three grandchildren: Dayline, Shannon, and Rendall; and two infants.
He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Donna Hogshooter of the home in Watts; five children: Sandra Pike and husband Hollis Gifford Jr. of Siloam Springs, Kathy Brown and husband Charlie Jones Jr. of Stilwell, Sherry Eiger and husband Jeffery of Watts, Dianna Busby and husband David Flute of West Siloam Springs, and Marvin Hogshooter of the home in Watts; 17 grandchildren four great grandchildren; three brothers: Curtis Hogshooter of Grove, Russell Hogshooter of Del City, and Jimmy Hogshooter of Westville; and one sister: Gertrude Dozier of Siloam Springs. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jim Beavers and Bro. Louis Ross officiating.
Interment followed in the Bell Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Westville.Bell Cemetery |Adair County Cemeteries| |Home|
