Ora Owl, daughter of Charley Teehee and Polly Sawney was born May 30, 1934 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on September 24, 2015 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 25 days.
Ora married Daylight Owl on April 16, 1955. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Ora loved playing bingo, picking wild onions and cooking. She will especially be remembered for her apple and raisin pies. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids. She worked at Stilwell Canning Co now Mrs. Smith for many years and was a member of Beaver Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Louella Duncan, Nancy Soap, Nellie Sam, Robert Springwater, Mary Teehee, Roy Teehee, Annabelle Duck, daughter; Katie Owl, granddaughter; Amber Kee and 1 infant son.
Ora is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Daylight Owl, children; Retha Owl and husband David Welch, of Bunch, OK, Melanie Owl ofStilwell, OK, Abraham Owl and wife Polly of Westville, OK, Levi Owl and companion Joyce Littlejohn of Stilwell, OK, Billy Wayne Teehee of Siloam Springs, AR. 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, siblings; Winnie Chuculate, Betty Galcatcher and husband Joe, Clarence Duncanand wife Daisy, Bobby Joe Duncan, Emma Galcatcher, all of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services at 1 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Steve Campbell and Bro. Joe Grayson officiating. Interment followed at Hickory Vann Cemetery, Bunch, OK
