Daylight Owl son of Daniel Lee Sr and Lizzie (Vann) Owl was born January 23, 1933 in Adair County, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 28, 2018 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 5 days.
He had a great love for his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and spent many hours reading his Cherokee Bible. He also served as Deacon at Beaver Baptist Church. Daylight worked at the Greasy Peach Orchard for many years and in sanitation at Stilwell Foods for 33 years to provide for his family. He loved listening to Gospel Cherokee music but most of all he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He had a great love for his dog Jack.Interment followed in the Hickory Vann Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
