Twonnia Jean (Burns) Asbill was born January 26, 1954 in Sallisaw, OK and departed this life on May 23, 2015 in Greasy, OK at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 27 days.
Twonnia married the love of her life Teddy Asbill on September 1, 1973 and to this union 1 daughter; Tedi Jean was born. Twonnia worked as a paraprofessional for over 30 years in public education. She worked at Greasy, Watts, Dahlonegah and Stilwell Schools.
She loved arts and crafts, reading, crocheting gifts for loved ones, spending time with family but especially enjoyed watching her grandsons play ball.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Wilma Jean Smith, grandma; Velma Malone, sister; Sandy Morris and father in law; Doyle Asbill.
Twonnia is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband of over 41 years; Ted Asbill of the Home, daughter; Tedi Jean Elms and husband Josh, 2 grandsons; Tanner Elms and Logan Elms all of Greasy, OK, siblings; Debbie Lewis and husband Jim of Vian, OK, Bub Morris and wife Mary, Alan Morris and wife Robin, Marty Smith and wife Amy all of Sallisaw, OK, Anna Shamblin and husband Steve of Ft. Smith, AR, Linda Terrell and husband Kenneth of Vian, OK. Mother in law; Sue Asbill, sister in law; Annetta Scott and husband Tim all of Bunch, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held at 9 am on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Pastor Max Ford, Robin Morris and Rev. Ronnie Ford officiating.
Interment followed at Asbill-Elms Family Cemetery, Greasy, OK.|Adair County
