Margaret Taylor, 100 year old Mooreland resident, died Saturday morning at her home in Mooreland surrounded by her family. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Mooreland Cemetery. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Margaret Ruth (Kelsick) Taylor was born on August 23, 1917 in Enid, Oklahoma to Samuel Grover and Katie Ellen (Deerham) Kelick. She attended school in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. Margaret was united in marriage to Ivan Arleigh Taylor on June 3, 1936 in Enid, Oklahoma. They made their home in Enid.
She was a member of the Cross Pointe Church of Mooreland.
She is survived by one daughter Ruth Wells of Mooreland; three grandchildren, David, Deanna, and Margie; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, two infant children, two sisters, one brother and two grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
