Jason was born to proud parents, Darla (Arndt) and Frank Utterback. He entered this world on January 14, 1980, in Alva, Oklahoma. He left this world on February 18, 2023, at the age of 43 years, 1 month and 4 days.

Jason graduated high school in 1999. He earned his associate degree from N.O.C. in 2007. He went on to complete his bachelor degree in business from U.C.O. In 2009.

He enjoyed playing soccer throughout his school career. He was heavily involved in the local and county 4-H Club. His main project in 4-H was showing chickens. Jason thoroughly enjoyed taking his birds to shows and learning all he could about the chickens and ducks. He held several leadership positions within the 4-H Club.

Jason loved playing the trombone in the Alva Band of Gold. One of his proudest moments was earning the position of drum major his senior year of high school.

He began his work journey as a part-time cart pusher for Walmart while he was still in high school. He worked his way through several positions and eventually earned the title of assistant manager. He later found his true passion when he became a realtor. Early in his real estate career he achieved the Ruby Salesman Award.

In 2002 Jason relocated to Yukon, Oklahoma, then he made his way back to Northwest Oklahoma settling in Enid from 2005 to 2007 after receiving his associate degree, and then ventured to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, making this his permanent residence until the time of his passing.

Preceding him in death are his dad, infant sister Elizabeth, uncle Tim, cousin Ryan, Grandma Lucy Arndt and Granny Maxine Utterback.

Jason leaves behind his mom, Darla Utterback-Harris (Mark), his sisters Bridget Eck and Megan Stephens, his nephews William and Chris Eck, his Papa Bill Utterback, and Papa Willie Arndt (Grandma Mary Alice), and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He also leaves behind two fur babies: his beagles, Bella and Buddy.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alva Band of Gold and Enid Big Blue Band through Wharton Funeral Chapel.
