Margie Jane Hawkins, 76, of Ramona, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019.

Margie was born December 16, 1942, in Ramona, Oklahoma, to parents Joel Turner and Josephine Irene (McCormick) Odell. She attended and graduated from Caney Valley High School.
She worked as a teachers aid for the Caney Valley Schools and was the former President of the Ramona Caney Valley Alumni Association.
Margie loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Jospehine; son Jeff Hawkins and brother Edward Odell.

Margie is survived by her brothers Larry Odell and wife Kay of Oolagah, Oklahoma and Russell Odell of Bixby, Oklahoma; daughter in law Melinda Hawkins of Ramona; two granddaughters Tarah Gailey and husband Mitch of Ramona and Jolene Powell and husband Jason of Tulsa; two great grandsons Easton Gailey and Jeffrey Wyatt Powell and multiple nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Ramona Friends Church with interment to follow at the Ramona Cemetery.
