David Lee Billbe passed from this Earth Saturday, September 5th, 2020 to be with his Lord.

David was born October 12th, 1932 to Harold and Alpha Billbe in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He graduated from Ramona High School in 1950 and served in the United States Army from November 1952 to November 1954. He married Dora Evelyn Owens on August 6th, 1953. They had two children, Daniel Lee and Deanna Sue. David was employed with Zinc Corporation of America for fifty years. He was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, treasurer, and Sunday school teacher.

David is survived by his wife Dora Evelyn, daughter Deanna Johnson and her husband Kerry, one granddaughter Brandy Martin and her husband Jeff, two great grandchildren, Lilyana and Jaxon Martin. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Delle Deen, Dortha Hudson and her husband Don, brother-in-law Bill Hawkins and sister-in-law Vivian Billbe, and several nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his son Daniel Billbe, mother Alpha Billbe, father Harold Billbe, brother James Billbe, sister June Hawkins, brother-in-law John Deen, brother-in-law Leon Owens, sister-in-law Naomi Owens, and in-laws Elvin and Dora Owens.

Visitation will be from 11 am – 8 pm on Tuesday, September 8th at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 9th at 2:00 pm at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.

The Family requests in Lieu of flowers that donations be made to: New Harmony Baptist Church. C/O Shawn Hawkins, 22481 N 4015 Rd. Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006.
