Gore – Mass of Christian Burial for Ruth Pearl Ackerman, 76, will be 10 AM Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Webers Falls. The Rev. Jeff Polasek will officiate.

Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Vian. Arrangements are by Millsap Funeral Home Service, Webers Falls.

Rosary will be recited at 7 PM today in the Chapel of Millsap Funeral Home.

She was born March 4, 1923, at Ardmore to Edward D. And Emma Wolken Bach and died Sunday, June 6, 1999 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center.

She graduated from the Catholic school in Okmulgee. On September 28, 1946, she married Charles Ackerman in Okmulgee. She was a bookkeeper in automotive and retail stores. She was a member of the Catholic church.

Surviving are her husband, Charles, of the home; one daughter, Kathy Gordon of Del City; two sons, Jim of Gore and Jay of Enid; one sister, Wilma Clark of Gore; nine grandchildren; and six great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Monastery, PO box 900, Hales Corners, Wisconsin, 53130 – 0900 or to American Lung Association, 2442 N. Walnut, Oklahoma City, 73105 – 3106.
