Paul S. “Buck” Sing, age 77, of Meeker, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 in Meeker.Buck was born October 23, 1938 in Shawnee to Toby Sr. and Martha Carpenter Sing.He graduated from Macomb High in 1956 and served in the U.S. Army Reserve, 95th Division.He married Rita Kinnett Sing in Okemah on October 9, 1981.Buck was a member of the Tecumseh Flames Car Club in the 1950’s. He loved to restore old classic cars.One of his favorite pastimes was playing his guitar and singing country songs from the 1950’s. His favorite song to sing was “Rojo”.He retired from Oklahoma Foreign Parts in Moore, Oklahoma.He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Raymond Sing, James Sing, Toby Jr. “Hot Shot” Sing and Jack “Goose” Sing; and one sister, Betty “Giddley” Sing.Survivors include his wife, Rita, of the home; one son, Bryan Sing of Irving, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharita and Jason Culp of Meeker; two sisters, Judy Sing of Macomb and Nora Lee “Chee” Doss of Shawnee; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim “Rooster” and Delores Sing of Tecumseh; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.Visitation will be on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Cooper Funeral Home from 12 noon to 8:00 pm. Family gathering to meet with friends and family will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2016 at Cooper Funeral Home.The celebration of Buck’s life will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Ray Wade and Rev Joe Jones officiating.The casket will be open Monday during visitation and will not be opened Tuesday.Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
