Dennis Ernest Arms

Dennis Ernest Arms, 67, of Chandler, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Oklahoma City.

He was born May 24, 1950 to William Ernest and Dovie (Watson) Arms in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Dennis was raised in Shawnee and attended Shawnee Public Schools. He graduated with the class of 1968 from Shawnee High School.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged.

Dennis married Lorrie Lynn Henrichs on December 18, 1981 in Enid, Oklahoma.

Dennis was an auctioneer and owned and operated Arms Auction in Tecumseh and the Chandler Auction. He also worked as a salesman for many years.

He loved motorcycles, camping, watching Thunder games, boxing, and was an avid OU fan. Dennis dearly loved his grandchildren; they were the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Ernest Arms; mother, Dovie Johnson; and brother Rick Arms.

Dennis was survived by his wife, Lorrie Arms of the home; 2 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Deann and Clifton Koger of Broken Arrow, OK and Melody and Brian Brewer of Tulsa, OK; 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Adam and Jennifer Arms of Chandler, OK, Brandon Arms of Chandler, OK and Colton and Kyah Arms of Meeker, OK; 9 grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Little Axe Baptist Church. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Little Axe Baptist Church with Reverend Sunny Stuart officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Bethel Acres under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
