Memorial services for Charles Herbert Sanders, 77, of Tupelo, are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery at Stonewall, Wendell Ingram will officiate.

Mr. Sanders passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 Mary Hurley Manor in Coalgate. He was born April 2, 1940 at Tupelo to Sam and Myrtle Thompson Sanders. He attended school at Eureka and Tupelo High School.

He married Nancy Sheron Wood August 19, 1964 in Tupelo. Mr. Sanders was a farmer and rancher and also drove a Tupelo School Bus for 39 years. He served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy, of the home; three daughters, Brenda McCurry and husband Scott of Tupelo, Sheryn Sanders of Tupelo, and Katy Sanders and fiancé, Drew Jordan of Tahlequah; four brothers, Jack Sanders, Audie Sanders and wife Wanda and Jerry Sanders, all of Tupelo and Glenn Sanders and wife Phyllis of Stratford; a sister, Beverly White of Tupelo; six grandchildren, Randy McCurry, Brendan McCurry, Lyndsay Hamer and husband Timmy, Tyler Daffern, Chace Krebs and Brant Krebs; and two great-grandchildren, Payzlee Hamer and Oaklyn Hamer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Alma Daniel, Patsy Sanders, and Mary Sanders; and two grandchildren, Braden Krebs and Denver Krebs.
