Services for Jean Wofford, 93, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2022 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bill Sluder will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Mrs. Wofford died Thursday, September 22, 2022 at a local assisted living center. She was born October 28, 1928 near Lula, OK to Jack and Jewel Kerr McMeans. She graduated from Lula High School.

She married Jess Wofford on September 9, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2012. Mrs. Wofford retired as Head Housekeeper from Valley View Regional Hospital, after many years.

Survivors include two sons, Doyne Wofford and wife Sandy, Velma, OK, and Leonard Wofford, Stratford, OK; one daughter, Sharon Hoeberling and husband Ron, Norman, OK; one brother, J. L. McMeans, Velma, OK; six grandchildren, Carl Marsh, Charles Marsh, Tina Goforth, Tammy Myers, Jesse Wofford and Jean Ann Balzer; nine great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild.
