Services for Robert Lee Vinson, 80, Allen, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Keith will officiate and burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Mr. Vinson died Friday, March 30, 2018, at an Ada hospital. He was born Nov. 23, 1937, to William Conrad and Susie Eva Melton Vinson at Allen. He attended Allen Schools and was self-employed as a cement mason. He served in the military two years and was a member of Ada First Assembly of God. He and Nancy Loretta Stark were married May 29, 1959 in Ada. She died Nov. 25, 2006.

Survivors include his granddaughter, Cynthia Mellon-Parsons and husband Brock of Ada; a brother, Carl Vinson and wife June of Allen; a sister, Betty Bolin of Ada; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Vinson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Deana Vinson; and siblings, Arthur, Noralee Rittle, Charlie, James, Cecil, Ruth Davis, C. B., A. J., Junior and Floyd.

Bearers will be Phillip Vinson, Lynn Vinson, Gerald Vinson, Ronnie Davis, J. B. Bolin and Bill Bolin. Honorary bearers will be a host of nephews.

His grandsons will be bearers.
