Services for Carolyn Ann Summers, 69, of Allen are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Allen Chapel.

Mrs. Summers passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born October 25, 1946 in Holdenville to Dan and Anna Lou Royer Cook. She graduated from Atwood High School and attended college for a year.

She married Johnny Summers June 11, 1965 at Atwood. Mrs. Summers retired as a medical secretary for Ada Internal Medicine. Previously, she worked at Valley View Regional Hospital. Mrs. Summers was a member of Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Johnny, of the home; two daughters, Melissa Ross of Allen and Becky Hefley and husband Bill of Frisco; four grandchildren, Derek Ross and wife Shayna, Taylor Ross, Zack Hefley and Rylan Hefley; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Cook and wife Linda of Durant; two sisters, Joyce Cook of Allen and Sue Ellen Greene and husband Ray of Ocala, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Bearers will be her grandsons: Derek Ross, Taylor Ross, Zack Hefley and Rylan Hefley; and Richard Rocha and Terry Summers. Honorary bearers will be David Harrington, Doug Peay, Gary Starns, Frank Griffith, Bill Hefley and Phillip Harrington.
