Graveside services or Wayne D. Sanders, 81, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Allen Cemetery, Bro. Jimmy Keith will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Sanders passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at a Shawnee hospital. He was born February 3, 1938 near Allen to Clarence W. and Opal Lee Brown Sanders. He attended Atwood and Allen Schools.

He married Bonnie Barton September 16, 1967. Mr. Sanders was owner and operator of Sanders Lumber and Pre-hung Doors. He was a cabinet maker and carpenter. Mr. Sanders was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church and had served with the Oklahoma National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Sanders, of the home; four daughters, Debra Johnson, Tonja Hardage, Karen Falcon and Donna Nickell; two sons, Charles Sanders and Bobby Sanders; a sister, Betty D. Mitchell; his grandchildren, Josh Sanders, Michael Hardage, Megan Hardage, Mackenzie Falcon, Madison Falcon, Scott Johnson, Kendal Johnson and Clint Nickell; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rosa Lee Jackson.
