Services for Johnny Dean Rippee, 76, of Allen are 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Sunday until service time.

Mr. Rippee died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at his home. He was born April 16, 1939 at Round Prairie in Hughes County, Oklahoma to Clarence and Ina Davis Rippee. He graduated from Tulsa Central High School.

He married Dot Pierce August 11, 1958. She preceded him in death April 2, 2012. Mr. Rippee was a truck driver until his retirement.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Prentice and husband Bradley of Allen, Donna Bench and Del Holt of Pottsboro, TX and Denise Griffith and husband Frank of Allen; a son, Danny Rippee of Atwood; two brothers, Tommy Rippee of Ada and Glen Rippee and wife Marlene of Porterville, CA; his grandchildren, Amber Ford and husband Derek, B. J. Bench and wife Lara, Derek Prentice and wife Heather, Brooke Baber and husband Caleb, Terra Wainscott and husband Cody and Trevor Griffith and wife Chelsea; and nine great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Lainey and Ellie Ford; Addison and Kingston Prentice; Lauren and Claire Baber; Madi Bench; and Cambree Wainscott.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Velda Hampton.

Bearers will be his grandsons, Derek Ford, Derek Prentice, B. J. Bench, Trevor Griffith, Cody Wainscott and Caleb Baber.
