Services for David Wallace Jones, 82, of Allen, are 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Allen Church of Christ, Mr. Mark Legg will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, May 8, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Allen.

Mr. Jones passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at a hospital in Carrollton, TX. He was born June 3, 1939 in Allen, OK to William Wallace and Julia Katherine Trowbridge Jones.

He married Mary Mable Parker, November 21, 1958. She preceded him in death February 10, 2022. Mr. Jones was a Driver/Engineer for the Dallas Fire Department.

Survivors are his son, Tony Jones, Allen; daughter, Crystal Jones, Allen; son-in-law, Bryan Elliott, Tupelo; sister, Glenna Trimble and husband Tom, Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren, Savannah Arrington, Sarah Dodd, Justin Jones and Rio Buck; seven great grandchildren, Brian, Lily, David, Declin, Ranger, Austin and Charley Kay.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Kevin Jones and daughter, Cassi Elliott.

Pallbearers are Tony Jones, Bryan Elliott, Willie Pattillo, Justin Jones, Vance Jones and Randy Arrington. Honorary bearer is Adam Prentice.
