Services for Bobby Joe Johnson, 68, of Allen are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Allen, Rev. Ed Rutherford will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Johnson passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at his home. He was born August 12, 1955 in Ada, OK to Richard D. and Ellen Christine Gore Johnson. He lived in this area all his life and graduated from Byng High School.

He married Mary Alice Day March 28, 1997 in Allen. Mr. Johnson worked in construction and the oilfield industry. He served in the U. S. Army from 1976 – 1980.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; five sons, Billy Joe Johnson, Eric Wayne Johnson, Thomas Graves, David Verdane Morrison and Scottie Wayne Morrison & wife Seanah; two sisters, Jackie Johnston and Freda Riggs; seven grandchildren, Noah Johnson, Zac Johnson, Kennedy Graves, Gracie Graves, Mikael Morrison, Jennah Barnhart and Carly Laird; and great-grandchild, Valley Ray Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Johnson; his mother, Ellen Christine Johnson; son, Randle James Morrison; a brother, Melvin Johnson; and great grandchild, Cyrus Clayton Phillips.

Bearers will be Billy Johnson, Eric Johnson, Scottie Morrison, David Morrison, Noah Johnson, Zac Johnson and Mikael Morrison.
