Services for Edwin Harold Garvin, 77, of Allen are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Louise Marrs will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Mr. Garvin passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at his home. He was born November 9, 1939 at Hartshorne to Simpson and Irene Daney Garvin.

He married Bernadette Cavoli in 1979 at Frederick. She preceded him in death February 21, 2001 in Ada. Mr. Garvin was a truck driver until his retirement.

Survivors include his children, Carol Van Nortrick and husband Nolan of Sherman, TX, Dale Garvin and wife Beth of Duncan and Dana Miller and husband Michael of North Little Rock, AR, Bryon Slater and wife Donna of Fargo and Charlene Crisanto of Rome, GA; his grandchildren, Amanda Cavoli and Kyarstin Cavoli, whom he reared, and Justin Slater, Joshua Slater, Rachel Slater, Brye Garvin, Cherrelle Ellis, Nick Miller, Miranda Miller, Edwin Crisanto, Roberto Crisanto and Antonio Crisanto; and eight great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Nick Miller, Joshua Slater, Edwin Crisanto, Mario Vidal, Jeremy Buckmaster and Brian Yates.
