Services for Debra Jean Boyd, 61, of Allen are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Allen School Auditorium, Rev. Ed Rutherford will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Thursday until service time.

Mrs. Boyd passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born May 12, 1957 at Springfield, IL to Clyde Alfred and Donna Jean Justice Dale. She graduated East Peoria High School in East Peoria, IL. She also attended Illinois Central University in East Peoria and John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1980.

She married Edward Arnold Boyd September 19, 2015 in Allen. Mrs. Boyd taught at Tupelo Head Start for a year and Allen Elementary School for 27 years until her retirement. She was a member of Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Arnold Boyd, of the home; a son, Jacob Trevor Pitts of Ada; daughter, Trista Marie Aultman and husband Alex of Washington State; two grandsons, Evison Catron, Ada and Lucas Alexander Aultman, Washington; a brother, Clyde Dwayne Dale and wife Kim of Atoka; and three step-children, Jimmy Boyd, of Dallas, Johnny Boyd of Pickett, and Amy Melton of Latta.

She was preceded in death by her parents; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bearers will be her nephews.
