Services for L. C. Blankenship, 92, of Allen are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Allen Church of God of Prophecy, Ed Rutherford will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Chapel in Allen.

Mr. Blankenship died Friday, January 29, 2021 at his home. He was born June 30, 1928 in Loving, New Mexico to Lonnie and Cara Jane Wilkinson Blankenship.

He married Wanda Jenette Raney January 26, 1950. She preceded him in death. Mr. Blankenship retired from Sun Oil Company, was a rancher and a member of the Allen Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include his grandson, Kelly Blankenship of Allen; daughter-in-law, Cindee Blankenship, Wilburton; sister, Carolyn Henderson, Allen; grandchildren, Rachel Conley, Benton Conley and wife Karen, Wilburton; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Paige, Mason, Blayne and Paisley; nieces and nephews, Dusty Henderson and wife Becky, Judd Henderson and wife Amey, all of Ada, Melina Linker and husband Bob, Andre Pegg, Leon Boyd and wife Barbara, all of Allen, Marty Jackson and wife Ruth, Norman, Mike Patterson and wife Jaquetta, Duncan, Yvette Kalmar and husband Nick, Gerty, Paul Lewellen and wife Andrea, Fresno, CA, Doug Blankenship and wife Jodie, Gerald Blankenship and wife Suzette, and Joel Blankenship and wife Charlene, all of Skiatook.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Tom Ayres and Maxey Ayres.
