Memorial services for Jackie Dale Ayres, 75, of Ada will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Lance Bonner will officiate.

Mr. Ayres passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at a local nursing home. He was born June 25, 1943 at Ada to Sanford Hugh and Vera Marie Standridge Ayres. He graduated from Latta High School.

Mr. Ayres had a variety of occupations through the years including Dr. Pepper, delivering propane with his uncle and Dad, glove salesman and later was a delivery driver for Airborne Express.

He was an avid CB radio enthusiast and a member of the local Elks Lodge #1640 where he enjoyed playing pool with his friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Bonner and husband Keith of Ada and Darla Lea and husband Danny of Moore; a son, Edward Ayres of Tulsa; brother, Bill Ayres and wife Peggy of Ada; two sisters-in-law, Linda Ayres of Ardmore and Louise Ayres of Ada; five grandchildren, Billy Bonner, Tyler Beck, Matthew Beck, Jace Ayres and Abigail Ayres; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Tom Ayres and Maxey Ayres.
