Wanda "Jane" Creswell-Campbell, 83, of Glencoe, Oklahoma, formerly of McAlester, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Westhaven Nursing Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Jane was born on July 8, 1940 in Madill, Oklahoma to Solon Richard and Eva Ruth (Edmond) Creswell. She married Howard Donald Campbell on May 29, 1959 in Durant, Oklahoma. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital and McAlester Regional Hospital before retiring after 35+ years. She enjoyed planting flowers, crocheting, reading and bird watching. She was also involved with senior citizens activities. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia Jane Gibson and husband, Greg Gibson of Glencoe, OK, Sondra Campbell of Perry, OK; grandchildren, Sue Myers and Doshia Whitmore; great-grandchildren, Tevin Conklin, Kaylynn Conklin, Kaila Warden, Hunter Warden, Axton Myers and Ethan Craig; and great-great-grandchildren, Lucy Boswell and Midus Boswell. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Solon Creswell; husband, Howard Donald Campbell; granddaughter, Emily Michelle Myers-Conklin; son, Carl Don Campbell; great-great-grandson, Tidus Lee Boswell; and a sister, Betty Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Gibson, Tevin Conklin, Axton Myers, Jacob Boswell, Steve Harlow and David Thomas. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in McAlester. Burial will follow.
