Lonnie E. Adams, age 35, died Friday, August 28, 2015 in Talihina. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Indianola School Auditorium with the Reverend Jay Hurt officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester. Lonnie E. Adams was born on August 8, 1980 in San Antonio, Texas. His parents were Lonnie Adams and Janie Wright Adams. When he was in the 5th grade he moved to Indianola where he was raised by his mother, Janie (Wright) Griffin and her husband Ross Griffin. Lonnie graduated from Indianola High School in 1998. He went to work for Dale Cuzalina's Southeast Vending Company, where he worked for about 14 years. In August of 2014 he became part owner of Procore Fuel Solutions and also actively worked in the business as a technician. He and Ashley Little were married on June 4, 2005 in Las Vegas. When Lonnie had some free time away from work he enjoyed going hunting, fishing and playing video games. Survivors include his wife, Ashley Adams, mother, Janie Griffin, 2 brothers, Keith Bearden and wife Rebecca, Brandon Bearden, 1 sister, Tina Mireles and husband Rodrigo, parents-in-law, Jerry Don Little and wife Donna, brother-in-law, Josh Little, special friends, Ethan Collier, Krista Barlow, James and Ruth Prince and Jason and Ashley (Prince) Sylvester. He was preceded in death by the man who loved him as his own, his step-father, Ross Griffin. Active Pallbearers will be Ethan Collier, Randy Fortner, Jason Sylvester, Keith Bearden, Rodrigo Mireles and Brandon Bearden. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Prince, Clint Buckner, Josh Little, Randy Sylvester, Steve Kitchens, Dan Grimace and James Prince.
