Dorothy Mullins, 93, of McAlester, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at a local nursing center. Viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, June 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Arpelar Cemetery. Dorothy Mullins was born on June 17, 1929 to Oscar Lee Mullins and Lucy L. (Dement) Mullins. She grew up in the Haywood/Arpelar area and has lived in this area all her life. Dorothy is survived by a son, Thomas Mullins; 3 sisters, Ella Butler, Marzell Owens, and Lois Mullins; a brother, Paul Mullins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
