Betty June Nash Thomas passed away early Sunday morning, November 6, 2011 at the age of 81 years.

The daughter of the late Hiram Nash and Fannie Inmann Nash, Betty was born on June 6, 1930 in Wewoka, OK.

She was united in marriage to Robert Duane Thomas on March 14, 1958 in Douglas, NV and she had three children, Elizabeth, Anthony and Thomas.

Prior to coming to Cushing in 1997, Betty had been very active with 4-H; PTA; instructing cake decorating and having two state champions in the state of Wyoming; active with the Order of the Eastern Star; a member of the Masonic Auxiliary; enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley music and Mercedes cars.

Survivors include her husband Robert of over 50 years, of the home; one daughter Elizabeth Thomas of Cushing; one son, Thomas Thomas and his wife Carolyn of Cushing; one sister Ernestine Welter of California; one brother Clarence Abercrombie of Oregon; 6 grandchildren, Levi Blaze Coltrin, Deirdre Springsteen, Amy Thomas, Robert Thomas, Stephen Thomas and Jodi Thomas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Thomas; three sisters, Donna Murlin, Alice Murlin and Pauline Franklin and three brothers, Pete Nash, Emory Nash and Lee Nash.
