Ruby G. Strong, Cushing resident, passed away Wednesday, June 16, at her residence at the age of 83 years.
The daughter of the late Edgar Altom and Alona Zandever Altom, Ruby was born on Sept. 30, 1926 in Vera, TX.
Survivors include her two sons, Allan Martin and his wife Phyllis and John Manis and his wife Susie, all of Cushing; a sister Niva Reynolds of New Mexico; a brother William Altom of OK; three grandchildren, Raybow Giest, John Manis and Ace Manis; two great-grandchildren, Quinton and Gavin Giest, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Norman Strong.
No funeral services are planned.
