Larkin W. Robinson, Jr., retired security officer, passed away Sunday morning, May 10, 2009, at his residence at the age of 70 years.

The son of the late Larkin W. Roboinson, Sr., and Cona Jane Daughtery Robinson, Larkin was born on February 7, 1939 in Thida, Arkansas and was reared and educated in Moro, Arkansas.

He was united in marriage to Joyce Herndon on April 24, 1963 in Arkansas and to this union four children, Angela, Steven, Anita and Timothy were born.

Larkin had worked as a security officer in several different businesses prior to his retirement.

He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.

The couple came to Cushing in August of 2005 and had lived here since that time.

Survivors include his wife of over 46 years, Joyce of the home; their children, Angela Cochran of Cushing, Steven Robinson of Cushing, Anita Davis of New Albany, MS, Timothy Robinson of Cleveland, TN, Christopher Robinson of Dayton, TN, Matthew Robinson of Dayton, TN, and Danita Robinson of New Albany, MS; one sister Helen Graham of Benton, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren, Alvin Cochran, Jessie Cochran, Audrey Cochran, Steven Robinson, Andrew Cochran, Dakota Cochran, Joshua Robinson, David Robinson, Laurie Robinson, Ethan Davis, Timothy Robinson, Jr., Jacob Robinson and Hannah Robinson; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 1 P.M. in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Moro, Arkansas.
