Forrest Wayne Robinson of Stillwater, Oklahoma took his last car ride to his eternal vacation on Friday, February 13, 2015. He passed from this life after a brief illness at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was 69 years, 9 months, and 3 days of age.

His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel, Stillwater, Oklahoma. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater. Strode Funeral is in charge of the arrangements.

One of five children, he was born May 10, 1945 to Joe Abner and Daisy Alice (Lacey) Robinson in Elk City, Oklahoma.

In the mid-fifties, Forrest was placed in the Paul’s Valley State School at almost 11 years of age. In 1968, he became a resident of the New Horizons Home. From December 1973 through 2002, he spent his time in some type of nursing facility. He spent 2 years at Gatesway West before moving into his home in September 2004. He has had roommates off and on since his time in a house. On January 2014, he and his roommate became affiliated with Mpower.

Forrest was retired from working at the workshop for Mpower.

Forrest had been in facilities and his home setting with one of his roommates for 30 years – Donald Dunham.

He is predeceased by his parents.

Forrest is survived by his roommates of his home, Donald Dunham and Debra Crayton, and his care staff and friends and employees of Mpower.
