Hiram Meade Hadley
March 29, 1833 ~ October 9, 1921


H. M. Hadley died at his home, near Ingalls, Sunday, October 9, 1921, aged 88 years.

Funeral services were held and interment was in Hart cemetery, near West Point, at noon, Monday

Lottie Bertha [Quimby] Hadley
September 28, 1880 ~ March 15, 1950


Funeral services for Mrs Lottie Hadley were conducted last Thursday afternoon at the Bethel church with the Poteet Funeral Home of Pawnee in charge of services. Interment was in the Hart cemetery.

Mrs Hadley, daughter of Burzil and Josephine Quimbly, was born in Nemaha county; Kansas on September 28, 1879, and passed away March 13, 1950. Long-time residents of Pawnee and Payne counties since before the opening of the Strip, the Hadleys celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary on February 11, 1947.

Survivors include her husband, C. C. Hadley of Ingalls; six children, Mrs Florence Evans of Ripley, Mrs Vernie Armstrong of Ingalls, Mrs Zora Grant of Oklahoma City, Mrs Zona Drake of Pawnee, Oscar Hadley of Stillwater; 39 grandchildren ans 49 great grandchildren.
Three daughters preceded Mrs Hadley in death.

Also surviving are one sister and six brothers, Mrs Ella Merritt, Yale; Ed Quimby, Pawnee; Burt Quimby, Pawhuska; Frank Quimby, Drumright; Howard Quimby, Yale; and Ralph Quimby, Washington State.
