Patrick Lee Ledgerwood, Cushing resident, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the St. Francis Hospital at the age of 24 years.
The son of Brenda Dunlap Ledgerwood and John Ledgerwood, Patrick was born on March 11, 1985 in Drumright.
He was raised by Brenda and Matthew Prince in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School in 2004.
Patrick had worked for Quapaw Asphalt Plant for a little over a year.
He enjoyed fast cars and bikes; playing golf and playing the Nintendo and games on his cell phone.
He loved to hang out with his friends and spending time with his family, especially his niece, Lindsey Ledgerwood and nephew, Coleten Ledgerwood.
Survivors include his parents, Brenda Ledgerwood and Matthew Prince of Cushing and John Ledgerwood of Drumright; grandfather, Fred Dunlap of Cushing; one brother, Michael Ledgerwood; three step-brothers, Paul Prince, Charlie Prince and Adam Ledgerwood; one step-sister sister, Jessica Ledgerwood and other relatives and numerous friends, including special friends, David & Justin Exton, Cody Penny and Josh Pauley.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Council Valley Baptist Church with Brother Sonny Johnston officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
