Roger Dale Cypret
October 24, 1951 ~ July 23, 2018


Roger Dale Cypret of Ripley, Oklahoma passed away on Monday July 23rd, 2018 in Ripley, OK at his home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.

Graveside Services will be Friday July 27th at 10am at the Fairlawn Cemetery North of Cushing on Hwy 18. [For Family Only] heeding his wishes. Viewing for family will be on Thursday July 26th from 6-8pm. [Family only]

Roger Dale Cypret was born October 24th 1951 to Noel Cypret and Berniece [Cox] Cypret in Cushing.

He lived most of his life in the Cushing area.

He worked the better part of 27 years for Cushing Metals.

He loved God and studied the Bible for many years.

He enjoyed spending time with family, metal detecting and collecting rocks.

He married Edith Marker on October 2nd 1976. and to this union were born six children. [Jerimy, Amy, Heather, Amber, Kayla, and Keri]

Roger is survived by his wife Edith for 41 years. His Children; Jerimy Cypret of Cushing, Amy Atkeson and husband Eric of Ada, Oklahoma; Heather Johns and husband Jay of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Amber Cordell and husband Steve of Highlands, Texas; Kayla Harrison and husband Nick of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Keri Cypret of the home. Fourteen grandchildren; Tien, Ryken, and Zeric Atkeson; Joshua, Rylee, Rebecca, and Haydin Johns; Carmyn, Jaedyn and Braelyn Cordell; Bryar and Mila Harrison; Lilly [Cypret] Buck, and Christina Cypret. Two brothers; Larry Cypret of Yale and Rudy Cypret of Drumright, and his sister-in-law Sharon Cypret of Cushing, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and three sisters.
