Temple B'nai Israel Cemetery is located on N. Kelley Ave., 1/2 mile south of the intersection of N. Kelley Ave. and E. Memorial Rd. in north Oklahoma City. Take US Highway 77 north {aka Broadway Extension} to the Memorial Rd. exit. The exit comes up on N. Kelley Ave. just south of Memorial Rd. Memorial Park Cemetery can be seen directly across Kelley Ave. Turn right {south} and go approximately 0.4 mile and Temple B'Nai Israel Cemetery will be on the left {east} side of the road. It is immediately south of and next to Memorial Park Cemetery.

Prior to 1960, thirty acres immediately south of Memorial Park Cemetery was bought from the Memorial Cemetery Corporation for this beautiful burial ground. Only markers flush to the ground have been allowed in the cemetery since the early 1970s. A special separate section for babies has been set aside near the entrance of the cemetery. Two are buried there as of 2004. Perpetual care, including mowing, landscaping, repairing of stones, and general upkeep is the responsibility of a committee that answers to the Board of Directors of Temple B'nai Israel Cemetery. {Information obtained from OK County Cemetery Index - compiled by OK County HCE Genealogy Group, page 123.}
