Robert Alvin "Doc" Kinney, Jr.

Robert Alvin "Doc" Kinney, Jr. 61, passed away on January 2, 2012.

Doc was born May 8, 1950 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Robert Alvin Sr. and Margaret {Mathews} Kinney.

He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved all sports, especially hockey.

Doc was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Samie Geis.

Survivors include his loving wife, Tammie; children, Heather Christensen {Darin}, Daniel Geis {Shea Hedrick}, David Beamer {Heather}, Dustin Beamer and Kristin Arnold; grandchildren, Dominic and Kevin Beamer; brother Terry; sisters, Laurie {Mike}, Robin {Bill} and Valerie; mother in law, Pauline Geis; and numerous nephews, nieces and in-laws; as well as numerous friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2012 at The Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Military Honors will follow at Sunnylane Cemetery.
