Reunion Cemetery is located on NE 234th St. {Sorghum Mill Rd.}, 0.5 mile east of the intersection of NE 234th St. and N. Triple XXX northeast of Arcadia, Oklahoma. From the Oklahoma City area, take I-35 north to State Highway 66 {exit 141} and go right {east} for approximately 10.8 to 11 miles to N. Indian Meridian Rd. {approximately 4.5 to 5 miles east of Arcadia, Oklahoma}. Turn left {north} and go 3 miles to NE 234th St. {Sorghum Mill Rd}. Turn right {east} and go 1.5 miles. The cemetery is on the left {north} side of the road.
This cemetery is an active black cemetery. There have been some burials in the early years of the 21st century. Someone mows it occasionally. There was no evidence of land records at the County Clerk's Office. The cemetery was given its name because of the families of those buried there gathered on Memorial Day for a reunion.{Information obtained from OK County Cemetery Index - compiled by OK County HCE Genealogy Group, page 91.}
If you have family buried in this cemetery and would like to add their information, an obit, tombstone photo, funeral home record or memorial card to this website, please send area coordinator an e-mail.
