Recorded and filed March 31, 1952 in Book 30, page 37. It is also in Plat Book 30, page 92 as part of the school edition to Green Pastures, called Hillcrest Floral Gardens Cemetery. There were two beautiful acres laid out; Garden of Devotion and the Masonic Gardens.
Owners A. L. Kelsoe, a single man, and Rex L. Conway joined by his wife, Bonnie L. Conway, had this property surveyed and platted into lots, sections, avenues and walkways. They conveyed the land in the following way: "and which to hereby adopt and dedicate for cemetery and memorial purposes, to be henceforth known as Hillcrest Floral Gardens...to owners of each burial lot and their successors in title. Restrictions: No monuments except markers set flush to the ground so as not to interfere with mowing and proper care of the lawn...."
The name was changed to Hillcrest Memory Gardens sometime after the original filing. Forest View Cemetery used to be a separate cemetery on the east side of Hillcrest Memory Gardens. It is now part of Hillcrest Memory Gardens. {Information obtained from OK County Cemetery Index - compiled by OK County HCE Genealogy Group, page 45.}
