STEVEN "REGGIE" BARNES
1953-2012
Steven "Reggie" Barnes passed away May 25, 2012.
He was born January 31, 1953 in Oklahoma City to Dr. Shelby and Jean Barnes.
He attended Deer Creek Schools from 1968 - 1971. After earning a degree in Political Science from Oklahoma City University in 1975, he received his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma in 1980. He practiced law in the Oklahoma City metro area for 20 years before being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Barnes.
He is remembered by his mother and father, Jean and Shelby; his four sons, Shawn, Ryan {Leighanna}, Patrick and Nathan; his brothers, Danny {Garva} and David {Lynda}; his sister, Shelley; and numerous nephews and nieces.
A public service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. at the Church of the Servant, 14343 N. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City.
The burial will follow at Czech National Cemetery, S.W. 44th and S. Villa, Oklahoma City. We love you and will miss you.
