Delilah Lenell Moses was born on October 28, 1961 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she attended Edison High School and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Delilah is a former Miss Ponca Nation Princess along with many other titles that she held with grace ,beauty, and passion for her Native American Heritage. Delilah was an Amazing role model to all ages throughout Oklahoma. Not only did she hold princess titles, she also served two years as an Ambassador for the Governor of Oklahoma. Delilah furthered her education at the University Of Oklahoma with a full ride scholarship from the Boomer Sooner's Marching Band. She then continued her education and became the first graduate at the Pawnee Nation College. Throughout Indian Country Delilah was well known for being a Champion Dancer in the Southern Cloth and Buckskin division and creating beautiful beadwork and regalia. Many have expressed how beautifully she carried herself as a Strong Native Woman. One of her amazing talents was a beautiful singing voice that made heads turn. She sang back-up for the MGM and Red Land singers. Delilah was a member of the Pawnee Indian Methodist Church. Delilah was also known for having such a big heart and welcomed everyone as her family. Delilah became a proud mother to several Haskell Rascals and Phi Sigma Nu Fraternity Brotherhood. She has many adopted families from all four directions in the Pow-Wow life. Delilah will be deeply missed by all her loved ones.

Delilah is survived by her husband Berwyn Moses Sr., children and adopted children; Autumn Moses, Berwyn Moses Jr., and Judith Judiki, Tawny and Leah Hare, Mary Wildcat, Zachary Chadoe Toahty, Timothy Ortiz, Coloradas and Keyona Mangus. Grandchildren; Alan Marie Cole and Meezhinga Lizzie Marie Roy, Sisters; Tonette Ponkilla, Sylvestine Franklin, Chumila Hill, and Gwendi Williams. Brother; Charles Arkeketa, and many more.

Delilah was preceded in death by her grandmother; Rosetta LeClair, grandparents; Sydney and Pearl Bravescout, parents Anthony Arkeketa and Nova Marie Moore-Fields. Adopted Myron and Carmen Wahnatee, adopted daughter Maria Cuddo. Delilah is also survived by aunts; Sylvestine Shields, Jewell WalkingSky, Tina Youker, Eugenia Brown, uncles; Sydney Moore Jr., Darrell Moore, and Jim Claremont.

Services will be held Wednesday 1:00 P.M. October 10, 2018 in the Pawnee Nation Roundhouse with Wes Hudson and Rev. Jim White officiating, burial will follow in the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery.
