Dennis Delray Jackson (DJ), 57, beloved Father, Brother, and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on July 1, 2021. He entered this world on January 10, 1964, in Pawnee, OK, born to Donald Leroy Jackson and Darlene Anette Simms Jackson. He was also raised by his grandmother Anne Burgess Jones.
 
Dennis grew up in Red Rock and attended school in Red Rock and obtained his diploma from Red Rock High School. He moved to Oklahoma City after graduation and moved around to Norman, OK and then Blanchard area most of his life, but the last few years he made it back home to Red Rock. He enjoyed attending Rock Concerts, going to Otoe Pow Wow's and encampments, Dennis was also an avid fisherman. Dennis loved to spoil his grand children with every chance he got. He was quite the actor and an amazing storyteller.
 
Those left behind to cherish his memory are Three children; Jessica Doughty and husband Jason of Chickasha, OK, Dennis Jackson II of Norman, OK and Amber Jackson of Norman, OK, Two brothers; Darrell Jackson of Red Rock ,OK and David Shaffer and wife Karen of Longview, TX, five sisters; Reva Neal of Red Rock,OK, Donnita Ramsey and husband Fred of Guthrie, OK, Doretta Ramirez and husband Rudy of Norman, OK Janet Evans and husband Bobby of Guthrie, OK and Kathy White of Moore, OK two grandkids: Jayleen Doughty and Jackson Doughty and One Grand Fur Baby: Zeke and numerous Nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, One son; Andrew "A.J." Jackson, Two brothers; Kenneth Neal and Gerald Shaffer.
 
Traditional Noon feast will be held Sunday, July 4, 2021 in the Otoe Baptist Church in Red Rock with services to follow.

Interment will be in Otoe Missouria Tribal Cemetery.
