Belinda Sue Howlingwolf, resident of Red Rock, passed Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Tulsa. She was 44 years of age.

Belinda was born February 7, 1971 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alman Duane Howlingwolf and Inez Mae (Black) Howlingwolf. She was a 1989 graduate of Red Rock High School and then attended Northwestern State University in Alva, Oklahoma. Belinda enjoyed cooking for the Otoe-Missouria people before her health no longer allowed it. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Her enjoyments were playing with her grandchildren, riding motorcycles with Brady, going to the casinos and her two dogs China and Little Chief. Belinda was one to always have a laugh and lovingly liked to terrorize her family.

She is survived by one sibling Melissa Howlingwolf McIntosh and sister Wynema Harragarra-Harms; her companion Brady Robison; aunts Carol Plumley and Mary Whitecloud; nieces Antonia Littleraven McIntosh, Lyric Guadalupe McIntosh and Justice Larae McIntosh; sisters Stephanie Black, Jamie Black, Whitney Killscrow and Jenna Plumley; brothers R.J. Plumley, Albert Plumley and Chris Plumley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her maternal grandparents James O. Black and Lupe T. Black; paternal grandparents Asa Dean Howlingwolf and Dorothy Little Raven Howlingwolf; uncles Albert Black, Wesley Dean Howlingwolf and Asa Howlingwolf Jr.; aunt Sue Howlingwolf One Feather.

Prayer services will be held Friday and Saturday evenings at the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Center. The noon feast will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 also at the Cultural Center followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Chink Whitecloud Sr. will preside over the services.

Burial will follow in the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
