Franklin Charles "Frank" Malget

Franklin Charles "Frank" Malget, 91, was born January 18, 1918 in Perry, Oklahoma.

He grew up and attended school at St. Joseph"s Academy in Perry. He was a faithful member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. His hobbies included gardening and roaming around town, but the highlights of his life were his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frank was a Cement truck driver working for Morrow Concrete in Perry for 43 years. On the 16th of August, 1944 he married Catherine Elizabeth Melvin in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Frank passed from this life on December 1, 2009 in Perry, OK.

Rosary will be 7 p.m., Friday, December 4th at St. Rose Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11a.m. with Father Tom Dowdell officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery.

Frank is survived by his wife, Catherine of the home; three daughters: Ann Umstead and husband, Mike, Betty Berger and husband, Les, Marie Robbins and husband, Johnny; two sons: Lee Malget and wife, Vickie, and Vernon Malget all of Perry; two sisters: Mary Della Tetik of Perry and Martha Thompson of Vista, California: one brother, John Malget and his wife, Jean of Perry; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Nick, Gus and Joe Malget.

Memorials may be made in Frank"s name to St. Jude"s in care of Perry Funeral Home, 203 E. Fir, Perry, OK.
