Vaught cemetery is one of the larger cemeteries in the area. It contains several hundred graves. Many are those of veterans. In the northeast corner is the Wilkerson Family Cemetery which was relocated for the construction of the Arkansas River Navigational System. Located here are the graves of the Dornan family, Charles, Sue Nell, Beverly and Linda. They were killed in the Keefton tornado May 26, 1973. A member of the Hildebrand family is buried here, possibly Jeffrey Hildebrand, son of Stephen Hildebrand. Jeff was to have been hanged for murder, but died of tuberculosis before his execution date.

Descriptive information used here with the permission of Gary Lester, Braggs. Information on this cemetery generously provided by George Miller, Webbers Falls.
