Debra Billen, age 73 of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 1, 2023 at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Debra Sue Glenn was born November 15, 1949 in Oklahoma City to Henry Herbert Glenn and Carlene June (Scott) Glenn. She was raised in Okla. City and attended school there. She graduated from Southeast High School with the Spartans Class of 1968.

Debra married her best friend and life partner, Ernie Billen on August 18, 1979. They made their home in Newcastle where they raised their children. Debra worked side by side with Ernie in the family business, Billen Dairy. For more than 35 years, she handled day to day operations on the farm. She looked forward to hay season, growing okra, and she truly loved all of their customers. She loved her animals, and especially “Porkchop”, her indoor pig. Always outgoing, Debra was somewhat of a rule breaker, and she lived by the motto, “Live to have a good time”. She enjoyed tending to her flower beds, was an avid sports fan, and she cheered loud for the Sooners and the Thunder. Debra loved music of all kinds and every genre, but she would tell you that gospel was her favorite. She was an excellent cook, and will be forever remembered for her enchilada casserole in the blue pan. Debra looked at the world differently, and truly appreciated the beauty in God’s creation. She was adventurous, loved long drives through the mountains and visiting the Smoky Mountains. She was a woman of great faith and she cherished her children and grandchildren. She was a strong woman, fiercely independent, and yet loved her pink lip stick at the same time. She couldn’t wait to give kisses just to leave a lipstick mark. Loved by all, she will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ernie Billen; son, Brian Brawner Sr; granddaughter, Madison Pritchard; her parents, Henry Glenn and Carlene Lambert; sister, Valorie Glenn Watson and two brothers, Randy Glenn and Danny Glenn.

Debra is survived by: her children, daughters, Renee Lewis and husband Chris of Newcastle, Robin Fielder and husband Kelsie Jr of Lexington, Tonya Stanley and husband Jerry of Edmond, Christy Robertson and husband Paul of Blanchard and Lisa Brawner and husband Jon Robinson of Okla. City; son, Kurt Billen and wife Christina of Edmond; two brothers, Mark Glenn and wife Kathy of Madill and Mike Glen and wife Tina of Madill; Grandchildren, Jason Lewis, Mindy Lewis Wright, Rylee and Ryann Billen, Kasadie Fielder, Kelsie Fielder III, Brian Brawner Jr, Katie Brawner, Reis Brawner, Makenzie Stanley and Scout Stanley; 9 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 5, 2023 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Newcastle Memorial Gardens. www.wilsonlittle.com
