Graveside services for Vera Marie Noble, 92, of Cheyenne Valley, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2020 in the Lone Star Cemetery. Social Distances will be required. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Vera Marie Noble was born on February 20, 1928 in the family home, in Cheyenne Valley, Oklahoma to parents Miles Wesley and Nellie Frances (Gasswint) Bennett. She went to be with her Savior, and joined her loved ones who passed before her, on May 12, 2020 in her son’s home in Cheyenne Valley.

Vera was raised and educated in Cheyenne Valley and Waynoka area in the Media District, and attended Northwestern University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. It was in College she met Boyd Noble and on March 3, 1946 they were wed. Vera and Boyd made their home on the Painted Desert Road in Cheyenne Valley. They were blessed with three children, Jerry Boyd, Terry Bruce, and Cynthia Nell. Through the years she raised the children, was a homemaker and worked the farm and ranch with Boyd. She was a lifelong member of the Cheyenne Valley United Methodist Church. Vera divorced Boyd and married Pete Wolfe for a short time. After Pete’s passing, she remarried Boyd. She would always say, “We just kept adding up the years like we were never apart”. Boyd passed away on October 30, 2010 which left a large hole in her heart. She stayed on the farm until her health declined and she moved to Enid to an assisted facility until her son Jerry moved her home to take care of her. She was loved by those that knew her and will be truly missed.

Vera is survived by her two sons Jerry and wife Rita of Cheyenne Valley, Terry and wife Ellen of the Lake Tenkiller area, daughter Cynthia Noble of Sapulpa, seven grandchildren, Shea Edwards, Aubry Noble, Christy Springwater and husband Steven, Angie Robison, Keith, Shiloh and Caleb Noble; 16 great-grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.

Her parents, Miles and Nellie Bennett; husbands, Boyd Noble and Pete Wolfe, grandson Trevor Noble, granddaughter Kim Pribble and brother John Bennett preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheyenne Valley United Methodist Church with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc acting as custodian.
