Isabella Cemetery


Clarence Calvin "Red" Chase Jr, 95, formerly of Isabella, OK, went to his heavenly home July 20, 2022. He was born July 5, 1927 in Okeene, OK to Clarence Chase Sr. and Minnie (Rade) Chase. Red served in the 2nd Armored Division of the Army, January 1946 to March 1947. He married Naomi Ruth Fuller on November 7, 1954. They were married until her passing in 2005. Red found love again and married Lillie Faye (Cummings) Miller on March 29, 2009. He spent his career working as an auto mechanic at Jensen's of Fairview. Red loved working on engines, especially his pickup, doing yardwork and gardening, playing games, bird watching, caring for their cats, and working puzzles. He also loved being involved in the Isabella community and helping any way he could. Most of all, Red loved serving God and his church.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; spouses, Naomi Chase and Lillie Chase; brother, Kenneth Chase; step-granddaughter, Tara Miller. Survivors include stepdaughter, Cathy Snowbarger and husband Steve; stepsons, Jr. Miller and wife Nancy, Dale Miller and wife Margie, and David Miller and wife Terri; nine step-grandchildren, Heather Wickersham and husband James, Sarah Nimmo and husband Ricky, Chris Miller and wife Ashley, Adam Miller and wife Mary, Lisa Miller, Lori Miller, Jason Miller and wife Marissa, Chad Miller and wife Kayla, and Jonathan Miller and wife Christina; fourteen step great-grandchildren, who knew him as Great Red, Maddie, Emily, Amy, Eloise, Weston, Colton, Wyatt, Tucker, Audra, Asher, Katelyn, Dylan, Austin, and Jayden.

Viewing will be Friday, August 5, 5-7pm at Fairview Funeral Home. The service will be Saturday, August 6, 10am, at the Isabella Church of the Nazarene with interment in Isabella Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Isabella Church of the Nazarene.
