Graveside memorial service for Kenneth James Cottrill, 69, of Isabella, Oklahoma, will be held at 11AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Bierig Cemetery, north of Okeene. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Kenneth was born on January 19, 1953 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Donald Clare and Leona Mae (Payne) Cottrill and passed from this life into the next on May 3, 2022 in the emergency room of the Fairview Regional Medical Center. Kenneth grew up in Isabella and attended school in Fairview, graduating from Fairview High School in the early 1970's.

Once high school was completed, he went to work in the oil field, performing many different jobs over his long career. He worked for Continental Resources and retired after 38 years. Retirement opened a whole new chapter in his life. He enjoyed spending a lot of time with his son Zach and helping him run the cattle company. It also gave him more time to spend with his daughter Tiffany and her friend Doug, his three grandchildren, and his many friends. Kenneth loved to be outdoors hunting, and fishing. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Zach Cottrill and Tiffany Cottrill, three grandchildren, Cameran Cottrill, Colton Cottrill and Casen Cottrill, and two brothers; Sidney Cecil Watson and wife Thelda, and Kenneth Becker and wife Elizabeth.

He was preceded by his parents, step-father Charlie Becker, one son Zane Cottrill, two brothers Bobby Don Cottrill and Phillip Cottrill Sr., and one sister Donnelle Gayle (Cottrill) Sholtess.

Memorials may be made to Okeene Athletics with the Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. acting as custodians of the fund.

Condolences may be made on line at www.fairviewfuneralhomeinc.com.
