Stephen Frank “Steve” Foster, 70, of Wilson, OK passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Ardmore, OK. He was born April 18, 1952, in Boswell, OK to Don Ray and Betty Jo (Stephens) Foster.
 
Steve grew up in Oklahoma and lived in Gainesville, TX before moving to Wilson 17 years ago. He retired from the City of Ardmore. Steve married the love of his life Kathlene Taylor on April 27, 1972, in Eldorado, OK.
 
Steve was a member of the Ringling Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, especially with his great-grandson Creek and grandson-in-law Jamie. Steve was the family handyman when it came to carpentry work. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
 
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Don Ray Foster; mother, Betty Jo Folsom; and nephew, Robby Andrews.
 
Those left to treasure his memory are his wife, Kathlene Foster of the home; sons, Kent Foster and wife Melissa of Wilson and Shane Foster and wife Kelly of De Ruyter, NY; brothers, Rusty Foster and wife Donya of Kingston, OK and Ray Foster of Cathedral City, CA; sisters, Donna Rose Foster of Colbert, OK and Jill Holt and husband Vance of Sherman, TX; grandchildren, Taylor Foster, Allie Foster, Faith Foster, Trey Foster, Justin Foster, Braylee Foster, Dylan Foster, and Seth Weir; great-grandchildren, Creek Reed and Brooks Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Leon Cemetery with Joe Wilkerson officiating under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Marietta, OK. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
