Graveside services for P.A. Watson, 55, of Marietta were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 10 at the Greenville Cemetery with Rev. John Sconce officiating.

Born October 10, 1956 in Ardmore, the son of Jeanette Carter and Pierce Anderson Watson, Sr., he died Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Denton Regional Hospital, Denton, Texas. P.A. had been a resident of Love and Carter County most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, coon hunting, and being with family and friends. Most of the time he was the life of the party. P.A. will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Steve Watson and two sisters, Diane Watson and Polly Watson.

Survivors include his wife, Ermalinda Sanchez Watson of the home; two sons, Pierce Watson and girlfriends, Teena of Tishomingo and William Watson and girlfriend, Stormie of Cumberland Cove; one daughter, Nicky Watson of the home; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Jimmy Stephens and Becky and Elvin Chapman, all of Kingston and Debra Watson of Ardmore; three grandchildren, Victoria Gonzalez and nephews, other relatives and friends.
